Almost Finished Setting Up My Blog

OMGosh! I am so tired now. LOL. I don't think most people understand how hard it is to try and do a blog/websites with kids home. I swear my children (all four of them) demanded my attention today. The younger ones were wrapped around my legs, arguing with each other and wanting this and wanting that. Don't get me wrong, I don't normally work on my sites until night time. However today Daddy was home to help out with the children. I swear that if I wasn't on the computer today, they wouldn't have been so attached to mom today. LOL Tomorrow we are taking the kids tobogganing. They really need to get out and run around. I'd take some pics tomorrow for my blog but my teenager has my camera. Teens ahhhh but that another posting for another day. LOL But to make a long story short. I am now pooped. Time for a nice relaxing bath and off to bed.

What a busy day we all had today. The kids didn't know we were taking them tobogganing today. They were excited. It's not that often that their dad can go with us. As he works alot. I really wish I had my camera for today. However I have it back now. My teenager is upset that I will not be letting her take my camera that often anymore because I want to post pics on my blog. I mean lets face it blogs are much more interesting with pictures. As for a fun day here today, the kids are exhausted. Which is great because they went to bed early. A plus for mom and dad.

Meet The Family

I thought I would let everyone meet the family. At first I was alittle worried about posting pictures of my children. But Its not like my address is posted and I think with my (You Do Not Have Permission To Copy This Photo typed on the faces helps.) I would like someone to comment on this please.

I also wanted to let you know that I will try to post again tomorrow. I had a hectic day today. I was at the hospital because I have numbness in my left arm and near my left ear. I really don't feel like posting much right now. The doctor says I have a pinched nerve but I am worried that it's more than that. So If I don't post for a couple days this would be why.

I Love My Computer But......

Have you ever had that burning feeling in your shoulder, that means you have been on the computer to long. But you ignore it and think to yourself, Noooo work through the burn LOL. In my last post I mentioned having numbness on my left side of my face and on my left hand. Scared the heck right outta me. I thought I was having a stroke. It's damage to the ulnar nerve. I was reading on the web about this and I came across a posting that said my left elbow is on my computer desk and my left hand was holding my left side of my face beside the ear. I was astonished. Wow It was true. I was sitting exaclty like that. Just thought I would post this because if you are reading my blog, you too might have picked up a bad habit like this and I encourage you to watch for this sitting postion. As I have been reading up on this, I can't believe how many people that use the computer are getting this symptom. Don't get me wrong, If you have numbness please still go see a doctor incase it is something more.

Valentine's Day To Me...

My views on Valentine's Day is that I heard most couples break up in February. I wonder why that is? Well let me think about this for a minute. Could it be that Valentines Day is just another money hungry holiday?! We just get over Christmas and along comes Valentine's Day. The way I see it is the love of your life should treat you like a princess/prince on any given day not just Valentine's Day. Like its an obligation. As you can plainly see by now I don't care for the big V Day. Not to mention that the children of today even think that parents owe them a Valentine's Day gift too. Gee my husband feels like Al Bundy And my children once again will vote me as worst mom ever for this time of year LOL Valentine's Day to me means hang on to my wallet (purse).

I am so proud of A she got her orange stripe in karate. She is on her way to her orange belt! I just love going to karate the nights that she spars. She just has such a nack for it. We are hoping that all the kids enjoy a self defense courses. F enjoys Boxing and I am hoping that E will want to do both Karate and Boxing. As for T she's is finally old enough to join soccer this summer. I just love watching the soccer games too. I am a true soccer mom. Shouting and my adrenalin rises so much. It's a hoot!

Poor A Or Poor Dad?

Poor dad, he can't win for losing. With Valentines Day only days way now and we have yet to get the children's Valentine's Day cards for school yet. Dad ran out tonight after looking everywhere for these cards and Doodlebops was all he could find. T as you can see is very happy with them. As for A she is NOT impressed. LOL I mean really what was dad thinking??? She can not take Doodlebops to school at her age. I just gave A this look of it's okay mom will make it all better. Once dad wasn't around I told her it's okay I will go out tomorrow and shop until I find some that she will like. LOL I just had to post this because the look on her face when she saw these was priceless. And dad was so proud to have found the last two boxes in town. Don't get A wrong, she really did appreciate her dad doing his best, but she really would be made fun of if she showed up at school with Doodlebops.

Sorry I havent had a chance to post to my blog last night. I am busy over at http://www.sharedreviews.com/. I advertised for others to join and you could get 2.00 a short review. Family Day Monday

I don't know if you get Family Day in the U.S. but in Canada we do. This is new too. I think that the teachers get enough days off. However I do enjoy the fact that my husband is home and the children get to spend extra time with him and the whole family. We are going to take the kids tobogganing again then let the kids have a friend over each for a sleep over. The cost will be:
Tobogganing: Free
Movies: Free (each Child can bring a movie from there home with them.)
Junk food Chips etc.: $12.00
Not bad for a night of entertainment for the Family & Friends. The kids are so excited too. As for F she is going to a friendfs for the night. It's hard when the children are years apart in age. Anyhow I was also curious to hear what others have planned for Family Day. Or if anything at all?

I have been asked this question I don't know how many times. How do I place google ads on my blog? I can tell you how to do this using www.blogger.com blogs. Lets assume you already have a blog but what to place a google ad on it. First sign up to Google Adsense I know you may have already done this and your question is. Google gave me a code to place on my blog. But where do I place this code. You don't need to use that code. This is what you do.You would sign in to blogger then click on layout. You will now see where it says Add and Arrange Page Elements. So know you will click on Add A Page Element. You will see a new window open up. Now click on Adsense add to blog. Once you do that you follow the instructions and you will be able to get your google ads right away. And the code will be embedded for you. Just don't for get to click save changes. Once your ad is on your blog. Simply sign into Google Adsense once a month to see if you have made any money.

Well nothing new other than I just love Facebook. I moved away from my home town as a pre teen. Left behind lots of close friends. Always thinking of one of them at one time or another through out my life. Finally the great invention of Facebook arrived. I signed up and have been looking and have found some of my old childhood friends. I have also had my childhood best friend find me through Facebook. It`s amazing to hear from friends that you have lost touch with. To see photos of them and hear what they have been doing all this time. For me it feels like a part of me is no longer missing. I was taken away from my friends. At that time my friends were my family. I can`t explain as to why that was. It`s to long of a story. But my point is if you haven`t got Facebook yet. I have to say" what are you waiting for "? You are sooooo missing out. SIGN UP HERE!

Doggy Pen Holders

Would you just look at these cute pen holders that my three younger children made. A was looking for a craft to do the other day and she came across a wonder site. Where she saw these. A decided to make one of these for her dad because he is always looking for a pen around here. And well of course T and E wanted to join in on the fun. As you can see there are no pens in the puppies mouths. Because we hadn't made it to the store yet to purchase some. Funny, this is A's point. Dad is always looking for a pen around here LOL You would think we eat them because we could buy a dozen pens and they would disappear within the week. I thought I would post the picture for two reasons. One being they are too cute. And two because I wanted to let anyone with young children to know about this wonderful crafty website. I can't turn my back for a minute. LOL I just left the room for two minutes to switch over the laundry. And I came back to find this picture as my desk top. F put this bra on E and thought this was so funny. Accually it was. Poor E, F has so many pics to embarrass him on his wedding day. It's not easy for him growing up with three sisters.

Look at this little Webkinz. My children have been waiting for weeks to get one of these. Today we finally went and bought the two youngest girls one of these each. The smiles on their faces were priceless. This Webkinz even had a push my tummy I talk button. We all thought they scored. But when we got home, we realized that you dont get to adopt this Webkinz, like the others. This Webkinz only comes with a code for the code shop in Webkinz. You can only use it if you already have a Webkinz account. It turned out fine because both girls already have an account. But I just thought I should post about this, so that others who don't yet have a Webkinz and you might be thinking about getting your youngster one for Easter. This one is NOT the one to get as again it won't work unless you already have a Webkinz with a Webkinz adoption code.

What a wonderful holiday. For a few reasons. One we celebrate that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Also because the young children look forward to the easter bunny. Who is much less expensive than Santa Claus. And The last reason because my mother passed away Easter weekend a few years ago. I light a candle for her. I find that with Easter, family, friends and my children all together helps with another year without my mom. Sorry that I havent been updating my blog. I was down for the count for a couple days. And when you have a houseful like we do, you would know that when one gets sick, it is usually like dominos. Last but not the least my husband has it now and F is hoping shes not next. I am surprised that my children are giving me a minute to update. LOL My house looks like a bomb went off. It's gonna take days to get everything organized around here. And I gotta tell yah, Husbands are the worst when they are sick. I am saying this because I chat with friends and we all agree. LOL Men are big sucks when they are sick. " I need this and I need that" OMG us women still have to carry on even when we are sick. A mom's day is never done. 24/7. No sick days allowed. You can post anything and everything that you don't use or need. Make a few bucks. You could also post an ad for others stating that you are willing to sell their stuff on kijiji for a % rate if they don't have the time and you will take care of the exchanges. Or offer to sell their stuff on ebay for them for a % rate. You could even purchase items on kijiji for a reasonable price and turn around and sell it on ebay and enjoy a bidding war. An adrenalin rush there. Just sign up and start selling. You will also enjoy the deals you can find on kijiji. I just purchased a gym weight set for and awesome price. A 3000.00 set for 100.00. I can't believe it. It is true. You can actually get paid to be a mystery shopper. My daughter came home from work about two months ago in shock. She came home an said mom I had a mystery shopper come into my work. Their real LOL. She said that after he served him his food, she then told her he was a mystery shopper. And that if she smiled more she would have gotten $50.00. He told her to remember him because he will be back again. Well last night he did. And she came home and told me last night about how she remembered him and this time she was sure to smile lots LOL and he gave her a free admit to the movies. I was alittle erie about this and so I called her boss and yes it is true he is the mystery shopper in the area. So if you like shopping than why not get paid for it! To me it would be kinda like a detective, spy sorta job. Something some people can get right into. Do You think you could be a mystery shopper?
